Adam Weiss was elected for the 2016-2017 Academic Year as the President of the GW Law Student Bar Association.
Originally raised in Carlisle, MA, Adam went to Minuteman Regional High School across the street from Lexington Green and thus has a strong interest in the Revolutionary War and its history. Between his childhood in Lexington and current life in the District, Adam attended the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA where he studied Aerospace Engineering and International Affairs. After that he worked for Boeing's Phantom Works in Southern California helping to design prototype spacecraft.
Adam is currently a 3L Brandeiser. In the past, Adam has worked at Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP, an intellectual property firm, Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox, a patent boutique, and Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, a large immigration firm. Currently, he serves as a notes editor of the AIPLA Quarterly Journal. Prior to that he served as Executive Vice President during his 2L year and was the Brandeis 1L Senator and sat on the Strategic Planning Ad Hoc Committee, as well as the Finance Committee.
During his undergraduate career, Adam similarly served in student governance, holding a variety of positions in both SGA and RHA. He also founded the Archery Club, led GT’s tour guides as the Tour Council Chair, and was awarded Connect with Tech Host of the Year.
Personally, Adam enjoys Star Trek, college football, and the arts. His favorite ice cream is Kimball's Ice Cream's Grasshopper Yogurt.
