Meet the Branch

Student Affairs

The Student Affairs team provides various student services, including locker and book sales at the start of each semester, and is responsible for much of the communication between the student body and the SBA. Additionally, the VPSA oversees the Wellness and Morale and Diversity Affairs teams as well as the Evening, Transfer, and LLM Student Affairs teams to help promote the inclusion and wellbeing of all students at GW Law. To help create a well-rounded experience, the Student Affairs team also puts together outings for students to support D.C.’s local sports teams at a Nationals game in the fall and Wizard’s game in the spring.

Chelsea Hack was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. She graduated from the University of Florida (Go Gators!) in May 2015 with degrees in Public Relations and Psychology. She came straight from Gainesville to D.C. to attend GW Law where she is now a 3L in the Cardozo Inn.

Chelsea started her SBA involvement as a member of the programming committee her 1L year. Before being appointed as VP of Student Affairs, she served as the Deputy Vice President of the branch as a 2L. Outside of the SBA, she is a member of the International Law Review and Entertainment and Sports Law Association. She also serves as the student representative on the Faculty Health and Wellness Committee. In her free time, she loves to explore the city and search for the best food and sweets it has to offer.
