The Minority Affairs Committee is responsible for facilitating outreach to the many diverse groups throughout the GW law community, as well as providing support to the many minority-based student groups at the law school. Minority Affairs has four main goals: facilitating the creation of a diverse student body through the admissions process, supporting and expanding GW’s minority-focused programming, working to help the student body network and find legal work with employers and organizations who value and seek out diversity, and advocating to the administration on behalf of minority students.

The Student Services Committee is responsible for coordinating all the services that the SBA provides to the law school student body, primarily the sale of business cards, lockers, and books. It runs a business-card sale three times each year, a book sale, and it oversees student lockers year-round. The committee also helps to coordinate various SBA events and fundraisers and works on behalf of students in a variety of areas.

The Gavel Club is the SBA point of contact for student groups. It helps to organize Thirsty Thursdays, assist in the chartering of new groups with the Senate, and serve as a resource for all student-group related questions.

Danielle Rosborough, Vice President of Student Affairs

Danielle Rosborough hails from rural, Long Valley, New Jersey – a town that is as exciting as it sounds.  While she never learned to pump gas, she can fist pump with the best of them. Danielle left small-town life, and her job at the local turkey farm, to attend Boston University where she became an even more avid Yankees and NY Giants fan.  After graduating with two very practical degrees in communication and political science, Danielle looked at the failing job market around her and decided that law school would be a wise choice.  Danielle is the proud captain of the GW Law Softball team where she has perfected her swing and led the team to an impressive 0-18-1 record at the UVA softball tournament.  In the limited amount of spare time she has, Danielle enjoys watching television in marathon format, surveying D.C.’s extensive happy hour scene, and defending the great state of New Jersey.
