APALSA General Body Meeting

Save the date for our fall General Body Meeting (GBM):

Times: 5-6:30
Location: LL101

We will introduce you to our organization, go through our events, and conduct elections! We will walk to Clifford Chance together as a group to the AEF Networking Event right after our GBM.

Note: Elections

Available positions include: Outreach Director (2L preferred), and 1L Representatives (1 for each Inn of Court and 1 for LLM students). Please submit your name and contact information in advance to the board, and you will be invited for a short speech at the GBM. (See position descriptions here).

AEF – Clifford Chance Networking Event

The Asian Pacific American Bar Association Educational Fund (AEF) cordially invites all DC-area attorneys and law students to attend its annual Wine and Cheese Welcome Reception to kick off the 2019—2020 academic year and the 2019 AEF Mentorship Program. Meet other lawyers and law students, learn more about and sign up for AEF’s Mentorship Program, and enjoy drinks and light appetizers provided by Clifford Chance US LLP. The event will take place at Clifford Chance’s DC Office (2001 K St NW, Washington, DC 20006) on September 18, between 6:30 pm and 8 pm. Professional Attires are recommended.

 

APALSA Mentorship Program

1L and LLM students are invited to sign up for our mentorship program, where an upper-class student mentor will be assigned to you. You can find the sign-up form here (Deadline: September 26).
We continue to welcome 2L and 3L students to become mentors. If you are interested in becoming a mentor, You can find the sign-up form here (Deadline: September 26).
