(1) Loyola Interview Program Bidding Starts TODAY

Bidding for the 2015 Loyola Interview Program starts today. Registered students are able to log onto the Symplicity system to begin reviewing and researching employers. You can log into the Patent Symplicity System at http://law-patent-csm.symplicity.com/students. Attached, you will find three documents: (a) SYMPLICITY INSTRUCTIONS, which provides instructions for logging into the Symplicity system and placing bids on employers for the Patent Law Interview Program; (b) RESEARCHING EMPLOYERS, which provides information and tips on researching our registered employers; and (c) 2015 EMPLOYER SPECIAL REQUESTS, which provides instructions for bidding on firms that are interviewing for more than one office location at the Patent Program. The deadline for students to bid on interviews is April 30, so get to work as soon as possible!

(2) San Francisco IPLA Job Fair

The 18th Annual San Francisco Intellectual Property Law Association (IPLA) Job Fair is scheduled for Saturday, August 8, 2015, at UC Hastings in San Francisco, CA. Registration MUST be completed by May 24, 2015 at 5:00 PM. You may begin bidding on employers as early as April 23, 2015.  The Official Announcement and Student Letter are attached, and the registration is now open on Symplicity.

(3) Shearman and Sterling IP Group Moves to Fried Frank

The former IP group from Shearman and Sterling lead by partners Scott Doyle and Jon DeFosse has moved to Fried Frank. If you were interested in that group based on speaking with them at the Employer Outreach Programs, make sure you place your Loyola bid for the new firm.
