(1) Fried Frank Rising 2L Summer Cocktail Reception
Fried Frank does a reception every summer for all 2L’s who are in DC, and at least a few members of the IP team will be there. The event will be held at the Fried Frank DC office at 801 17th St NW on May 27 from 6:30-8p.

(​2) SFIPLA Job Fair Reminder and Deadline Change
The new deadline for completing registration and bidding is May 27, 2015.  
The job fair will be held at and co-sponsored by the University of California, Hastings College of Law, located at 198 McAllister Street, San Francisco, California 94102, on SaturdayAugust 8, 2015. To register for the job fair, please visit https://law-sfipla-csm.symplicity.com/students/, create an account and: (1) complete the Employer Selection Form; and (2) upload your resume and any supplemental materials such as transcripts or writing samples for firms that require them.

(1) 3L Law Prep Diversity Reception and Scholarship Fundraiser

3L Law Prep is hosting a Diversity Reception and Scholarship Fundraiser on Friday, June 26, 2015. There will be food, drinks, raffles, and several speakers. All proceeds will benefit 3L+ scholarships and summer internships. Student tickets are only $10 until May 15. Tickets and additional information are available at:


​(2) Southeastern Intellectual Property Job Fair

For the first time, GW Law is registered and participating in the Southeastern Intellectual Property Job Fair, which will be held in Atlanta, Georgia on Tuesday, July 28, 2015. This recruiting program focuses on IP opportunities for rising 2Ls, 3Ls, and 2015 graduates. Like the Loyola Patent Law Interview Program, students MUST register for the program and pay the non-refundable $30 registration fee before they are permitted to bid on the employers. Student who bid and interview at the program must make their own travel arrangements to Atlanta.

The student registration deadline is Wednesday, May 20. Students who fail to register will not be allowed to bid on the employers. The bidding period will be from May 26 to June 9. If you have any questions, please contact Ethel Badawi at ebadawi@law.gwu.edu or Katie White at kwhite@law.gwu.edu.
