(2) First General Body Meeting – August 25th
Just a reminder that our first General Body Meeting will be on Tuesday, August 25th at 5:00 PM in LL101. There is a lot to go over, so we hope you can make it. Pizza and drinks will be provided!
(3) Transfer Student Roundtable with Dean Whealan
We are organizing a brown bag lunch round table with Dean Whealan for IP transfer students on August 27th from 12:00-1:00 PM in E112. This will be a great opportunity for new students to learn about the resources available to them through the IP Department and SIPLA. If you know any students who have recently transferred to GW Law that are interested in IP, please let them know about this event. Light food and drinks will be provided!
(4) 2015 SIPLA Mentoring Program
SIPLA is seeking students interested in volunteering as mentors for the 2015-2016 school year. The SIPLA mentoring program is a valuable resource for new students and an important part of what distinguishes GW Law in the eyes of IP employers. All 2L, 3L, and 4L students are encouraged to apply to be a SIPLA mentor.

(5) Fanelli Haag – Paid Internship Opportunity
Fanelli Haag PLLC, an intellectual property focused law firm, is currently accepting resumes for its 2015-2016, student internship program. This program is open to second, third and fourth year law students.
