The Loyola Patent Law Interview Program is a two-day interview program held in Chicago each summer that brings together patent law employers and law students from across the country to interview for summer associate positions and post-graduate employment. The 2016 Patent Law Interview Program will be held on Thursday, August 4 & Friday, August 5, in Chicago, Illinois.

Only law students are eligible to participate in the Patent Law Interview Program. It is not required that students be patent bar eligible to register for the program; however, many employers require patent bar eligibility. Student registration for the Loyola Patent Law Program will begin on Monday, February 8 and end on Thursday, March 10. Check out http://www.luc.edu/law/career/patent_schools.html for more information on this year’s program.

We highly recommend that all students interested in a career in Intellectual Property law register for this recruiting event because it is where most SIPLA members find their 2L summer jobs.

On that note, don’t miss the Career Center’s Loyola Patent Law Interview Program Information Session on Thursday, February 4th, from 2:45 PM to 3:40 PM in Lerner 302! During the program, 2L SIPLA members will talk about their experience at Loyola and give some helpful advice regarding interviews and applications.
