Connor graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2015 with a BS in Biological Systems Engineering with a Biomedical Engineering Emphasis. Prior to law school, he worked at NUtech Ventures, the technology transfer entity for the University of Nebraska system, where he determined whether technology invented by professors and students was patentable and whether the University could profit from commercializing or licensing the inventions.

Connor worked at Strain PLLC his 1L summer doing mostly mechanical patent prosecution. This past summer, Connor worked at Finnegan, focusing on patent litigation with the mechanical engineering group, and he plans to return there after graduation. Connor’s degree encompasses Biological Sciences and Mechanical Engineering, so he has been trying to find work that allows him to experience both areas without being funneled into one technology area.

This year, Connor continues to be an active member of SIPLA and Lambda Law, as well as being the Executive Production Editor of the AIPLA Quarterly Journal. Connor also took the patent bar this past week and has two upcoming publications. Outside of law school, Connor likes to workout and spend time with his friends, but most of his free time these days is spent with his new puppy Tito.
